Every Christmas is Unforgettable.

Are your unforgettable Christmas memories rooted in your childhood?
Do you remember that bike you begged Santa to bring you, or the precious Barbie Doll with her crystal blue eyes?
Or perhaps you associate Christmas with when you starred as the Christmas Angel, or the sad little elf, in the Christmas pageant at your school or church?
Does Christmas bring back memories of family time, and grandma and grandpa visiting for the first time that year?
Like a photograph album, the sights, sounds, and smells of Christmas weave their magic into the fibers of Christmas’ present and future, and no matter where you are spending this holiday, every Christmas provides a set of memories that will forever remain embedded in your mind.
Many of the worlds individuals associate Christmas with family.
The occasion might be a special moment when you turned on the Christmas lights, or schussed down the Rockie mountain on that memorable Christmas vacation in the Rockies with the whole family.
Other individuals remember unforgettable memories tied to more traditional Christmas activities.
Some families have cherished Christmas ornaments that have been passed down for generations, and each time they unpack them and put them on the tree, it evokes unforgettable memories of how they were received and what these keepsakes have meant to your family.
What are the sounds of Christmas for your family?
The squeals of excited children?
Jingling bells?
Santa’s jolly, “Ho, ho, ho!”
Or Nat King Cole’s velvety rendition of, “Chestnuts roasting by an open fire?”
Maybe those lasting Christmas memories are linked to activities like chopping down the Christmas tree, reading, “Twas the Night before Christmas,” or attending a performance of “The Nutcracker?”
Whatever memory signifies Christmas to you, cherish it. Life goes by so fast, and once loved ones leave this planet, memories, photographs and memorabilia is all that we have left of them.
Therefore, this Christmas me and the rest of the Divoti team wishes you and your family a wonderful day, and that many blessings will follow you for the year to come.
For me, it is always important that children (and adults) understand Christmas is not about gifts and spending money, but that we need sit back and count our blessings of the year gone by, instead of wishing for more stuff.
If we have a roof over our heads we should rejoice this Christmas. There are many who don’t.
If we have food to nurture our bodies and
healthy happy children, then we are truly blessed.
If we can help a loved one during an emergency, or crisis, then we should do
so, and know our help is greatly appreciated. More than words can ever say.
Every Christmas will bring new worries that shake our hopes and threaten our joy. But, if we count our blessings instead of bemoaning the fact that we didn’t win the lottery or get a big promotion, we will invite peace and love into our hearts.
May love, blessings, peace of mind be your guardian angel
this Christmas.
We wish you all the best,
Your Devoted Divoti Team
