What is a medical alert charm?
A small charm with a medical symbol, and your medical details engraved on it, that attaches to a bracelet, necklace or keyring. It lets first responders see that you have a condition they need to know about.
Can I add a charm to jewelry I already own?
Yes. That's what charms are for. Heart charms attach with a lobster clasp, and the clip-on heart fits most bracelets, necklaces and keychains.
What sizes do the Mix & Match charms come in?
Round Mix & Match charms come in 3/8" (10mm), 1/2", 9/16" and 5/8". Some are double-sided with a color enamel medical symbol, and 3-packs come in mixed colors.
Can I get a charm that's already engraved?
Yes. Pre-engraved charms are available for diabetes, and the pre-engraved clip-on heart covers Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, blood thinner and "see wallet card".
What should I engrave on a small charm?
Space is limited, so put the most important item first: your main condition, allergy or a critical medication. Add "see wallet card" and carry a medical ID wallet card for the rest.
What are the charms made of?
Hypoallergenic 316L stainless steel, with color enamel or PVD gold and rose gold finishes on some styles.
